Gatlin tries out with Bucs

Justin Gatlin, the Olympic 100-meter champion who's facing a suspension of up to 8 years from track and field for a failed drug test last year, has decided to turn out for football. He shares the world record in the 100-meters at 9.77 seconds. The big question is not really whether he could be an asset to a football team (assuming he can catch and isn't limited to running in a straight line); it's whether his recruitment sends the right message for the NFL, who should be trying to distance itself from issues like drug use.
