Needs and Wants

Something was a miss in 2004 for the Tampa Buccaneers. This once mighty defense stands nothing but a shadow of what it used to be. The Bucs defensive isn't, I wasn't saying it was, I am saying that it isn't up to par with the this age of quaterbacks that are coming out of the woodworks.

It might be because the defense is always out on the field. I got it. The Bucs really need improvement up front with the O-line to upon lanes for Pittman. I think Pittman is a little better than average. He has the power and intensity to be good, real good.

Draft some O-line Gruden...

What Happened?

One has to wonder what happened to the Bucs season.

Rookie receiver Michael Clayton was one of the only bright spots this year for the Bucs. In his first season he had 1,000+ yards with 7 TD catches.

Might have found a better quaterback, excuse a more consitent quaterback in Bob Griese. Pittman almost had a 1,000 yard season, but Alstott and Galloway really didn't contribute the way Gurden expected them too.

The Bucs finished 5-11 on the season.
